Death or Glory (2008)

Description: With the success of the Total War franchise, it's no surprise that there have been some attempts to emulate those classics. One of the latest comes from Russian publisher 1C which announced a partnership with Atari to bring their line-up of titles to North America. XIII Century: Death or Glory is an RTS that will let players take up the role of one of many medieval leaders and brutalize their enemies in immense battles. Instead of looking to expand on a sort of turn-based mode, XIII Century instead sticks to the real time tactical battles of the era. Expanded over five campaigns that will include all sorts of famous military leaders and aristocrats from the era, players will get the chance to battle through over 30 important battles that shaped the political landscape in Europe including Bouvines, Falkirk, and Gelheim.
